It was a joy to see the Steam Dream Rail Company Britannia Steam Locomotive at the Windsor & Eton Riverside Station today with the backdrop of Windsor Castle in Berkshire. The Grade II listed Windsor & Eton Riverside station was designed for the London & South Western Railway as a royal station. Passengers were heading off for a day trip to Norwich. The locomotive pulled the funeral train of King George VI from King's Lynn, Norfolk to London following his death in February 1952 at Sandringham House, Norfolk.
