The slewing isworked by bevel and spur gear, drivinga pinion gearing into the slewing motion is fitted with a brake tocontrol the slewing. The self-propell-ing is worked from the second motionshaft, by bevel gear driving a piniongearing into an intermediate wheel con-centric with the center post. All tliegears, axles and shafts are of steel, andthe bearings are made of gunmetal.
