A Palauan local working with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency excavates a sediment pond as part of a DPAA effort to recover the remains of a Navy pilot unaccounted for from World War II in Airai, Palau, Jan. 23, 2016. A 10 person DPAA recovery team deployed to the area for the mission, the second such mission to Palau in consecutive years.
