Another windmillshows prominently at the end of a quay which borders the farther side of thecanal. The low houses, clustering along it, have dull red roofs, save in thecenter of the picture where a building is distinguished by a roof of pinkishtiles. Over its top in the distance rises a third windmill. A dark hulledboat, flying a blue pennon at her mast, lies moored toward the left of the quay. Signed at the lower right, J. the Right Hon. Sir J. C. Day.
