Flowers are the prin- cipal actors in this great pageant, and the lights only act as a setting or a hel]) to stage artistically this great scene of beauty. At one end of the grounds there has been erected an altar, with a back- ground of tall cedars. In the center of this altar there is a high screen upon which the lights from the color organ play, and upon which at the close ap- pears a vision of the future Episcopal cathedral of Maryland. When com- pleted, it will be a beautiful structure. Around this great picture there is a border, to represent the frame, com- posed of twelve hundred Easter lilies. Down the sides of the pathway of flow- ers leading toward tlie screen, rustic booths have been erected from which flowers and other articles may be pur- chased. Thousands of people have vis- ited these grounds and admired the beauty of the scene and each one has left with this thought uppermost in mind, "Say It with ; R. W. ,T. CLEVELAND, O. The Market. In order to move stock, wholesalers were compelled to lower prices drastically; more stock, al- most, went to the street men and the rubbish box than was sold.
