Recruits from Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, maneuver over high bars during Obstacle Course II at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, April 20. If a recruit failed to complete an obstacle the first time, he was sent back to try it again. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate June 30.
