051206-N-6019M-033 Persian Gulf (Dec. 6, 2005) – Sailors assigned to the amphibious transport dock USS Austin (LPD 4) render assistance to the stranded dhow Riveria Boat in the Persian Gulf. Members of Explosive Mobile Unit Two Two, deployed with Expeditionary Strike Group Eight (ESG-8), were called in to remove a fishing trap, which fouled in the propeller. ESG-8 is currently deployed in support of maritime security operations.
