Knee Showing Osteoporosis

This sagittal (from the side) CT reconstruction of the knee shows generalized osteoporosis and degenerative changes. There are prominent degenerative changes at the patello-femoral articulation with prominent bony osteophyte (spurs) formation (red). Multidetector, spiral CT technique provides excellent images for reconstruction in multiple imaging planes.
