A Württembergian flintlock wender rifle, Bauer in Rosenberg, circa 1780 Blued two-stage barrels in 13 mm calibre, octagonal then round and smooth after a girdle. Each with a silver 'spider´ front sight, silver-inlaid tendrils at the breeches, numbered "1" respectively "2" and signature "BAUER A ROSENBERG". Smooth, polished flintlock with set trigger, the front part of the trigger guard for unlocking the ´wender´ mechanism. Florally carved walnut full stock with patchbox and smooth brass furniture.
