An Old Fashioned Christmas Delights Many
Grapevine's Vintage Train Rides are roors, the spirit all aglow. Crowds of people walk the streets, visit the shops for crafts like glass blown Christmas Ornaments to Blacksmith items made before a live audience. The town Clock Tower is like a coo-coo clock as the doors open and close on the hour as the bell tolls. The downtown architecture is classic gingerbread craftmanship. Being on the Cottonbelt Rail Road Line connected Grapevine with Chicago and large numbers of immagrants rode the rails to Grapevine to live. The city is known for its wine festivals, the vinards are excellent and local wines are super. The new TEXrail commuter train will connect Ft. Worth, 27-miles away with Terminal B at DFW International only a couple of miles up the road. It will be the second rail line to connect a terminal and interchange passengers from one line to the other.
