Yuri Vladimirovich Durov (born January 12, 1910 in Saint Petersburg, Russian Empire - died on February 22, 1971 in Brussels, Belgium), circus artist, trainer, clown, film actor. Raised in the family of his grandfather - the well-known circus artist and trainer Vladimir Leonidovich Durov. In 1935 Yuri started to work as an independent trainer. This led to one of the largest animal attractions in the country. Artist of the RSFSR (1939). People's artist of the USSR (1971). He died during a tour in Brussels, Belgium.
