Back-streets in Bretenoux, Dordogne, France, junction between Rue du Manoir de Cere and Rue de la Guierle

These old houses form one corner of the town square, which is now used as a car park. The square also has a couple of good restaurants. An important action was fought on the nearby bridge by the French Resistance, shortly after D-Day 1944.
