GULF OF TADJOURA, Djibouti (May 27, 2017) Mineman 3rd Class Ernest Bisco, attached to Coastal Riverine (CRS) 1 and a San Diego native, stands watch on the bow of a SeaArk patrol boat while escorting the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103). CRS 1 is forward-deployed to the 6th Fleet area of operations. 6th Fleet, headquarter in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied, joint, and interagency partners, in order to advance national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
