180411-N-BD308-0007 PHILIPPINE SEA (April 11, 2018) A Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) assigned to Naval Beach Unit 7 (NBU 7) exits the well deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Wasp and its expeditionary strike group (ESG) are operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners, serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency and advance the up-gunned ESG concept.
