A flintlock pistol, Johann Andreas Kuchenreuter, Steinweg near Regensburg, circa 1780. Round barrel with a raised sighting flat and a smooth bore in mm calibre. The top of the barrel is richly inlaid with silver scroll decoration, and bears a signature and the gold-filled horseman mark on the breech. Double folding rear sight, dovetailed front sight.
