Accra Airport, Ghana, February 1946. RAF pilot officer Browne and sergeant in front of a TAP – Transportes Aéreos Portugueses, DC-3 Dakota. Founded in March 1945, TAP only began commercial flights in September 1946. The flight was probably a test-run for the Linha Aérea Imperial, a twelve-stop colonial service to Angola and Mozambique, which began in December 1946.
