Every cloud has a silver lining or at least that s what business leaders in the Suffolk market town of Bury St Edmunds are hoping for with the opening this weekend of the 100 million pound Arc shopping and housing complex built on the site of the historic cattlemarket The largest retailer is Debenhams which occupies the controversial zinc clad structure seen here and known locally as the blob It will be the centrepiece of the complete development which will have 35 shops and employ 300 people 2009
