Public bike scheme, London, UK. This public bike scheme was launched by Transport for London in July 2010. It is officially known as Barclays Cycle Hire, after the scheme's sponsors. The bikes are secured at docking stations around the city, and can be hired by the public for a fee, and then returned to another docking station at their destination. Photographed in August 2010.
