Kaffir Corn.—A variety of sorghum, cultivated both for forage and grain, growing from 5 to 6 feet high, is stocky and erect, with wide foliage, and is never blown about by the winds; never tangles. Produces two to four heads, ten to twelve inches long on each stalk, which are greedily eater by stock; will produce 50 bush- els per acre on good land. For ensilage it is one of the most desirable.
