Genus PSEUDOPSEUSTIS, nov. Type, P. tellieri. Proboscis aborted, minute; palpi obliquely upturned, hardly reaching middle of Irons, the 2nd joint fringed with hair in iront ; irons smooth; eyes large, round; antenna; of male typically bipectinate with short fasciculate brandies, the apex serrate ; thorax clothed with hair and hair-like scales, the pro-and nietathorax-with spreading crests; tibia; moderately fringed with hair; the 1st joint of fore tarsus with four long eurved claw-like spines on outer side; abdomen with some rough hair at base but without crests. Fore wing with the apex rounded, the termen evenly curved and not crenulate ; veins 3 and 5 from near angle of (iell; 6 from the areole ; 9 from 10 anastomcjsing with 8 to form the areolo ; 11 from cell. Hind wing with veins 3, 4 from angle of cell ; .'i obsolescent from just below middle of discocellulars; 6, 7 shortly stalked ; 8 anastomosing with the cell near base only. SpcT. I.
