With all these more serious interests, not omitting our participation inthe political welfare of the village, the Club has still found time for the purelysocial and recreational side of life. All who attended the Womanless Wed-ding, the Bazaar, and the dancing parties can testify to this. The social hourfollowing the regular meetings has been a source of great pleasure. To those who have not yet affiliated with the Club, a most cordial invita-tion IS extended with the assurance that the programme for the coming yearwill be full of interest to all. Mrs. Thos. The Euclid Community Club SEVERAL years ago, it was felt that a need existed in Euclid for an organ-ization which should bring together all the woman of the village for bothCIVIC and social purposes. As a result, about thirty women organizedthemselves into the Euclid Community Club in January, 1917, under thedirection of Miss Susan Pomerene of the Cleveland Federation of WomensClubs. From the beginning the interest evinced has justified its existence. In the course of the last five years the Club has accomplished many first efforts were more to promote sociability. As the need for war workarose, the Club eagerly undertook its share of the responsibility through itssupport of a French war orphan for two years and its Red Cross work. Oneof our members.
