The Andean Flamingo (Phoenicopterus andinus) distribution: the high Andes in southern Peru, Bolivia, northern Chile and northwestern Argentina. It is closely related to the smaller James's flamingo. It is an only species of flamingo with yellow legs and feet. Vulnerable Species. At risk of extinction due to hunting, it's long breeding cycle, and restricted breeding sites. Here flock feeds at 3800 m altitude in shallow water of salty Laguna Santa Rosa Parque Nacional Nevado Tres Cruces Chile's Region III Atacama South America.
