Town of Criccieth, Wales. Picturesque view of Criccieth west beach, below Marine Terrace, with Criccieth Castle in the background. The castle was originally constructed by Llywelyn the Great in the early 13th century. After capture by Edward 1 in the late 13th century, the castle was remodelled under the supervision of Master James of St Saint George.
