The palace was sold as part of the Prussian delights in Holland by Frederik the Great to Anna van Hanover on February 21, 1754. Anna van Hanover bought the Prussian Delights in Holland as a whole for f. 700,000 for her at the time five-year son inheritance holder Willem V. Paleis Honselaarsdijk made them available to her daughter Princess Carolina.
