Shoppers and workers in the new Aeropostale clothing store in Times Square in New York on opening day, Friday, October 22, 2010. The 19,000 square foot flagship store has 500 employees and is considerably larger than the usual 3500 square feet that the company leases. Occupying the former MTV studios and a Bank of America the store was built out in a record four months, in time for the holiday season. In keeping with Times Square zoning there is a 120 foot long led billboard on the exterior which shoppers can choose to pose for. (© Richard B. Levine)
