Quite distinct from the foregoing, bearing feathery plume-like spikes of flowers of a deep claret color. 20 cts. per doz ; $ per 100. Ornitliogalum Arabicum (Arabian Star of Bethlehem). A very showy and distinct species, bearing racemes ot white flowers with a black centre, having a sweet aromatic odor; grows 1 to 2 feet in heiglit, and succeeds either outdoors or in pots. Excellent for forcing, and largely used by florists for this purpose. Of the easiest cultivation. 4 cts. each; 40 cts. per doz.; $ per 100. If wanted by mail, add 10 cts. per doz. for postage. These are profuse bloomers, and very attractive in the greenhouse or con- servatory during the winter. Plant 3 or 4 bulbs in a pot; the pot should be kept near the glass to prevent the foliage from growing loo long. Gl'aiicl DuclieSS. A new variety of great beauty; of dwarf, sturdy growth, throwing its large, exquisite pink flowers well above the foliage. Extremely free-flowering, never being out of bloom from November till June.
