Thai farmers from around the country held a brief rally to protest a government's decision to cut the price for rice pledging scheme at the Government House. They demanded that the government review its decision to lower the pledging price for ordinary rice from 15,000 baht to 12,000 baht per tonne from July 1 and instead retain the 15,000 baht per tonne pledge price until the end of September, given the government one week to respond , or they will petition the Administrative Court or the Constitution Court.
