Palace embarcadero. Ancient customs in the Bay of Santander, Cantabria, Spain
The Bay of Santander, is situated in Cantabria and is the largest estuary on the northern coast of Spain, with an area of km ², a length of 9 km and a width of 5 km. Due to the influence of Santander and its metropolitan area is concentrated around nearly half the population of the region, so the human pressure on the water level is high.
