Apollo and the Python; Perseus and the dragon. Display of the third Intermezzo during the performance of the play 'La Pellegrina' by Girolamo Bargagli: Apollo that beats the Python for a group of spectators in a forest. For the six Intermezzi of Giovanni de'Bardi, the machines and costumes were designed by Bernardo Buontalenti. This embodiment was on the occasion of the marriage of Ferdinando I de'medici and Christina van Lorraine in 1589.
