The final resting spot of the famed escape artist and magician Harry Houdini is seen in Machpelah Cemetery in Queens in New York on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Houdini died of a ruptured appendix on Halloween, October 31, 1926 making this year the 88th anniversary of his death. Fans come from all over the world to visit his grave which needs repair. Currently the Houdini Museum and at the Society of American Magicians, which Houdini was the founder, are raising funds for its restoration. (© Richard B. Levine)
