Miss May is an experienced first days work indicated that, and itwas just as though she had been continouslyengaged in the department. The Law Department is now well sup-plied; has a full quota of girl stenographers,and they are of the best. Hurrah for thegirls! She lived in my neighborhood, and inreturning from a visit to New York, em-ployed a taxicab at Union station.
