On the Federal side there were 7 men killed, 64wounded, 5 made prisoners, and 2 missing. From Gen-eral Marmadukes report, his casualties were 12 killed, 96wounded, and 3 missing. Having been left withoutprovisions for his men, Colonel Dunlap, after makingarrangements for the care of the Federal wounded andinterment of the dead, was obliged to leave Hartville andrejoin the other troops under Colonel Merrill en route toLebanon.
