A fisherman's cottage in the Isle of Man, in the late 19th Century. The Manx fishing fleet resided predominantly on the west and south-west coast and focused mainly upon herring. The cat is of the "Rumpy" species, a descendant of a survivor of a Spanish Armada wreck.
