Dental personnel attached to the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) provided dental care to residents of San Pablo village, which included cleanings, sealants and extractions, as well as preventative measures and dental hygiene to approximately 450 patients. 070624-N-7088A-020 SAN PABLO, Belize (June 24, 2007) - Air crew personnel attached to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 28 move a dental cabinet that will be filled with supplies donated by Project Handclasp to the San Pablo Roman Catholic School. Dental personnel attached to the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) provided dental care to residents of San Pablo village, which included cleanings, sealants and extractions, as well as preventative measures and dental hygiene to approximately 450 patients. Comfort is on a four-month humanitarian deployment to Latin America and the Caribbean region to provide medical treatment to approximately 85,000 patients in a dozen countries. While deployed, Comfort is under operational control of Naval Forces Southern Command and tactical control of Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 24.
