A flintlock rifle, Franz Rinspacher, Munich, circa 1825. Octagonal barrel, seven groove rifled bore in 12 mm calibre with patent breechblock, screw-in snail and well preserved finish. Dovetailed silver front sight and folding chiselled iron rear sight. Adjustable peep sight. Profuse gold and silver ornamental inlays on muzzle and breech.
