16th century painting of French ambassadors Jean de Dinteville and Georges de Selve.

16th century painting of Jean de Dinteville, the French Ambassador who attended the court of Henry VIII of England, along with Georges de Selve, the Bishop of Lavaur. The artwork is famous for depicting in the foreground and towards the bottom, a spectacular anamorphic, which, when viewed from an oblique perspective, turns out to be a human skull, while an Azerbaijanian vishapagorg rug occupies the table. Original painting by Hans Holbein.
