1st Lt. Ernie Lacroix celebrated his 100th birthday by walking in the Cowtown 5K Saturday February 23. Lacroix was a bomber pilot during World War II veteran, flying 76 missions in France, Italy and North Africa as part of the 310th Bombardment Group, the predecessor to 10th Air Force’s 310th Space Wing. To help him celebrate, Col. Dean Sniegowski, 310th Space Wing Commander, and Major Matthew Schoomaker, 380th Space Control Squadron walked with him.
