Cambridge UK, 2018-july-21. Mill Road. Two high-profile marches in Cambridge as a group campaign to 'free' ex-EDL leader Tommy Robinson planned to march from Parkers Piece to Midsummer common. While the Free Tommy group began their protest peacefully, it is thought that a male had been detained by police after throwing dye over officers. Meanwhile, Stand Up to Racism (SUR) and Unite Against Fascism (UAF) have organised a counter protest after becoming "concerned with the rise in Islamophobia and the far right". On the corner of Mill Rd and East road Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon, was jailed for 13 months for contempt of court on May 25 this year - after being subject to a suspended prison sentence for contempt of court before.
