The superbly preserved 13 foot high Carew Celtic Cross intricately carved with well defined knotwork and key-pattern designs.
Magnificent early medieval cross erected as a memorial to Maredudd who ruled SW Wales with his brother Hywel. Maredudd was killed in 1033, thus helping to date the monument.
