Battle of Azincourt
The Battle at Agincourt (also spelled Azincourt) was fought in the area by the French village of Azincourt on October 25, 1415. The English under Henry V defeated the French. This illustration is taken from a miniature in Vigiles du Roi Charles VII. The date of the ms. is 1484, and it is presently housed in Paris in the Bibliotheque Nationale.
