Her Majesty Queen Máxima attends a workshop of the “F€mpower Your Growth Program” at the Dutch development bank (FMO) in The Hague on Wednesday 11 September. This program from  and The Next Women, focuses on stimulating female entrepreneurship and improving access to finance for female entrepreneurs. Queen Máxima is present as a member of the Dutch Committee for Entrepreneurship and special advocate of the UN Secretary General for Inclusive Financing for Development (UNSGSA).   The “F€mpower Growth Program” is a pilot-project that runs from June to September 2019 and is intended for female entrepreneurs and Bank representatives, aiming at improving access to finance, building relevant networks and increasing entrepreneurial skills. There are 29 participants who have been selected based on the turnover of their company, between 750,000 and 1,000,000 euros, and their growth ambitions. Research by the Financial Alliance for Women from 2018 shows that worldwide 68% of women entrepreneurs are not satisfied with access to financial products and services.    is a joint venture of ABN AMRO, ING Rabobank, Better Future, FMO and The Next Women. The Next Women is a network of female entrepreneurs and investors. The Dutch Committee for Entrepreneurship was established by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate to encourage entrepreneurship. The Committee focuses on strengthening the growth potential of small and medium-sized enterprises.  As a UNSGSA since 2009, Queen Máxima has been committed worldwide to secure and affordable access to financial services for all, including low-income groups and small and medium-sized businesses to improve the chances of economic development.
