Sande municipality at Southern Sunnmøre covers 93,21 km2 with a population counting 2559 and is clearly a destination for tourists who are in for fishing and beautiful Dollstein mountain with its largely unexplored cave, which according to the sagas stretches all the way to Fingal's Cave in the Inner Hebrides, Scotland, and hosts a Viking treasure, is the most well known landmark to outsiders.
