Typical humid and impenetrable structure of multilayered ever-green beech and winter's bark forest. Hoppner Bay. Administered as part of the Argentine province of Tierra Del Fuego, Staten Island has been off limits to tourism since 1923 when it was decreed a Natural reserve for Fur seals. This was the first time a foreign-flagged vessel in history sailed into the protected areas and around the Island.
