Great care in the ex-amination is necessary to distinguish this dislocation froma fracture of the clavicle close to the acromial establish the diagnosis between these conditions, thelength of the clavicle must be accurately measured. Todistinguish it from a typical dislocation of the shouldera single manipulation by the surgeon seated in front of thepatient suffices.
