A Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker pilot, assigned to the 340th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, flies over Iraq June 15, 2018. The KC-135's mission was to refuel aircraft supporting Operation Inherent Resolve. In conjunction with partner forces, Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve’s mission is to defeat ISIS in designated areas of Iraq and Syria and set conditions for increased regional stability.
