Thehand-wheel 15 has the function of setting the piston valveof the scavenge pump in the correct position according tothe direction of rotation of the engine, whilst 23 representsthe fuel pump which may be controlled by means of thelever seen close to it, thus varying the speed of the engineand shutting off fuel altogether when required.
