Col. David Leaumont accepts the 595th Command and Control Group guidon from Maj. Gen. Andrew J. Gebara, Eighth Air Force and Joint-Global Strike Operations Center commander, signifying him as the new commander of the unit during a ceremony at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, Aug. 16, 2022. The new commander arrives to the 595th C2G and the National Airborne Operations Center from the Pentagon, where he served as the assistant deputy director for nuclear and homeland defense operations.
