NEWPORT, RI – Naval War College and Salve Regina University conduct a scholarly discussion on the National Security Implications of Climate Change April 5, 2023, part of a new initiative entitled “The Forum at Newport”. This is the first "Forum" event in a new series designed to increase cooperation and scholarship between the two higher education institutions located on Aquidneck Island. Distinguished participants in the event included Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, Secretary of the Navy the Honorable Carlos Del Toro and retired British Army Lt. Gen. Richard Nugee.
