CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (June 12, 2018) Rear Adm. Paul Pearigen, commander, Navy Medicine West, and chief of the Navy Medical Corps, and Erskine Oglesby, vice chairman of the Chattanooga city council, mark the official kickoff of Navy Week. Oglesby proclaimed June 11 through 18, 2018 as Navy Week in the City of Chattanooga, Tenn., on behalf of the mayor and the city. Each year, Navy Week brings Sailors to 15 cities across America that don’t have a large Navy presence with the goal of sharing information about the Navy with communities throughout the nation.
