With his hands he is supporting a stele resting on his thigh. On the stele an inscription can be seen expressing homage to the sun god Ra. The reverse of the sculpture bears a formula telling of a sacrifice to the gods Amon-Ra and Osiris. During the 18th dynasty (c. 1550-1300 BC)
